Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Worker to support individuals within their own homes across Cambridgeshire.
This role is ideal for care professionals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care and helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the community.
You will be working with a range of service users, including elderly individuals and those with additional care and support needs, providing essential day-to-day assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support in service users’ homes
- Assist with daily living activities including washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support with medication administration where required
- Assist with meal preparation and light household duties
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Build positive, trusting relationships with service users and their families
- Accurately record care activities and report any concerns to senior staff
- Travel between service users’ homes within the community
- Follow care plans and adapt support to meet individual needs
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar care setting
- At least 6 + months of recent care experience in the UK
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (flexible full-time availability preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care principles
