The job forms part of the QHSE department, carrying out a variety of complex tasks in line with health, safety and environmental regulations and standards. Hours are 36.5 per week with flexible working hours.
Key contacts are within the QHSE, projects engineering and manufacturing departments up to senior manager level and with external clients and suppliers.
Key challenges include:
· Developing and maintain effective working relationships with key contacts.
· Generating ideas for improved work procedures.
· Performing work in context of overall department priorities.
· Achieve a reliable and acceptable standard of planning and documentation at the first attempt, with minimal input.
1. RISKS Errors by the post-holder in carrying out this role will have short to medium-term implications that are unlikely to have long-term consequences but may not be immediately identified by others. These implications could cause minor delays to projects or have some financial, legal or regulatory consequences.
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
The job holder should normally hold as a minimum:
i. NEBOSH National General Certificate
Or
i. National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 3 Qualifications which must include an engineering or quality/health and safety discipline
ii. 3 years’ experience working in a health and safety, environmental, quality or engineering role
Pay: £28,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
