Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Radlett is an exciting new nursery opening soon, and we’re looking for passionate and experienced Level 3 Room Leaders to join our founding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a brand-new nursery from day one, working within one of the UK’s leading childcare groups. We’re recruiting Room Leaders for our Baby, Toddler and Preschool rooms.

As a Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and inspire your room team to deliver exceptional childcare and education.
- Create a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive.
- Plan engaging, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS.
- Observe, assess and support children’s learning and development.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Promote children’s wellbeing, independence and confidence.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
- Support and mentor practitioners within your room.
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain outstanding practice.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous nursery experience.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic and caring approach.
- Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable but not essential.
