We are currently looking for a dependable, practical, and proactive Delivery Driver to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied role that offers a great mix of driving and hands-on workshop work. Operating our modern Mercedes Sprinter van, you will be the face of Hallmark Fabrication, ensuring our products reach customers safely, securely, and on schedule.
Please note: This is not just a driving job. When deliveries are quiet or not scheduled, you will be expected to work within our factory to help support the production team. This flexibility ensures a stable, guaranteed 39-hour working week with the benefit of a 4-day shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting and delivering fabricated goods to customers and sites across the region.
- Securing, strapping, and checking loads professionally to prevent damage during transit.
- Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle at the factory and at delivery points.
- Conducting basic vehicle safety checks and keeping the Mercedes Sprinter clean and tidy.
- Supporting the factory team: Helping out with general workshop duties, moving materials, housekeeping, and basic assembly/production tasks when not required on the road.
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid, clean UK Driving Licence (with experience driving commercial vans like a Mercedes Sprinter).
- Flexibility and adaptability: A genuine willingness to get stuck into factory work when you aren't driving.
- A reliable work ethic with a punctual and proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Physical fitness suitable for lifting and loading fabrication components.
- Good communication skills when representing the business in front of customers.
