The Dock Feeder & The Cardiff Arms – Cardiff Canal Quarter
We're looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Multi-Site Bar Supervisor to join our growing team and work across two exciting venues in Cardiff's Canal Quarter: The Dock Feeder and The Cardiff Arms.
This is a full-time position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As a Multi-Site Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of both venues, supporting management teams, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
You will be expected to confidently lead shifts, motivate teams, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising daily bar operations across both venues
- Leading and supporting bar teams during service
- Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer issues professionally
- Training and developing team members
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and stock takes
- Supporting management with opening and closing procedures
- Driving sales through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous bar supervisory experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of bar operations and customer service standards
- Experience leading teams in a busy hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexibly across both venues, including evenings and weekends
- Personal licence holder is advantageous but not essential
