As we continue to grow, we're looking for 2 professional and dependable Same Day Delivery Drivers to join our growing team thanks to new business wins recently.
This is more than just a driving job. As the face of our business, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers while representing our family values on every journey.
The Role
As a Same Day Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering urgent consignments across the UK. No two days are the same, and you'll need to be flexible, proactive, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and delivering time-critical consignments safely and efficiently.
- Loading, securing, and unloading goods correctly.
- Completing delivery documentation accurately either by paperwork or on our driver app.
- Communicating effectively with the operations team regarding progress and delays.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Representing the company positively at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Clean driving record or no more than 6 points but NO disqualifications.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
- Reliable, professional, and trustworthy attitude.
Desirable
- Previous experience in same day courier, logistics, transport, or delivery driving.
- Experience driving Mercedes sprinters & lutons up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Knowledge of UK road networks and route planning.
