Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
We are now seeking to recruit a Labourer to join our Preservation team.
Role & Responsibilities
Assisting with preservation works to protect and improve buildings, including cleaning and treating surfaces affected by damp, mould, or environmental damage
Supporting site teams with general labouring duties such as preparing work areas, handling materials, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Carrying out cleaning and surface preparation tasks to ensure buildings are safe, well-maintained, and ready for further treatment.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment at all times.
Travelling to various sites as required.
Candidate Requirements
Previous labouring experience within construction is desirable, but not essential.
Full UK driving licence (essential – company van will be provided).
A good awareness of health and safety on site.
Willingness to carry out hands-on work and learn new skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Understanding the importance of delivering good customer service.
This is a full time, permanent position.
