Burger Boi is opening a brand new store in Stevenage town centre. We are on the look out for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food service environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring exceptional customer service and high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Train new staff members on food production, service procedures, and safety protocols
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to optimise revenue
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations of team members
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire staff
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel hospitality is highly desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures and hospitality industry best practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Previous experience in restaurant management or culinary roles such as barista or kitchen assistant is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards staff and customers
- A recognised qualification in hospitality or culinary arts would be beneficial
