Dental Nurse Required – Full Time

We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join our new and growing private practice in Lewisham.
Our modern practice offers a wide range of treatments including:
- Cosmetic dentistry
- Orthodontics
- Oral surgery
We also provide urgent care services 7 days a week.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team (40 hours per week). Some weekend work will be required on a rota basis.

- A qualified Dental Nurse
- An experienced trainee nurse with strong clinical skills
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared in advance
- Providing excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures
- Assisting with administrative duties, including stock management of dental supplies and equipment
- Communicating effectively with patients and team members to maintain a positive and professional environment
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma preferred
- Previous dental nursing experience essential
- Skilled trainee nurses will also be considered
- Proficient in Dentally
- Strong IT skills and confidence using dental software systems
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A caring, professional, and team-focused attitude
