Ashford Homecare is a CQC rated OUTSTANDING care provider in the Worksop area.

We are looking for PART TIME and FULL TIME staff members.
Our shifts are between 6:45am to 9:30pm. This can be split but we cannot offer school hours.
You must also have availability at weekends. We only require every other weekend and will not ask you to do every weekend.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing
- Support with mobility and transfer activities
- Administer medication following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
- Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases of dementia or Alzheimer's care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients of all ages
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable but not essential as we provide full training
- Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care
- Relevant certifications such as first aid are advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with clients
- Valid driving licence
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals in their daily lives
