Car Synergy is a growing family-run automotive business based in Leeds, specialising in quality used vehicles, servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostics and repairs. Established in 2015, we have built a strong reputation for customer service and vehicle quality, selling thousands of vehicles across the UK and supporting customers through our workshop and aftersales services. We work on a wide range of vehicles, from everyday family cars to premium brands including Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Tesla.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our friendly workshop team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive family business alongside an experienced Master Technician, gaining exposure to a varied and interesting range of vehicles.
The successful candidate will be passionate about vehicle maintenance, take pride in their workmanship, and be committed to delivering high standards of service and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
- Conduct MOT preparation work and rectify any identified defects.
- Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, timing belts/chains and other vehicle systems.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and preparation of retail stock.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Work closely with the Master Technician to resolve complex diagnostic issues.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Support the wider team in delivering exceptional aftersales service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on a variety of makes and models.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification preferred.
