ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

a programme connecting talented individuals with sustainable, long-term career
opportunities across the built environment, property services, and retrofit
sectors.
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation operating across two
specialist brands within property maintenance and retrofit services. This is an
exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career marketing
professional who wants to take ownership of social media, content creation, and
digital communications while helping tell the story of projects that are
improving homes, communities, and sustainability outcomes.
This is a highly hands-on role where you will be responsible for creating
engaging content, capturing activity on-site, and helping bring technical
projects to life through digital storytelling.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the senior leadership team and supported by an external
design agency, you will help deliver an established communications strategy
across multiple brands.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media activity, creating
engaging content, producing short-form video content, and tracking performance
across digital channels.
The role offers a unique blend of marketing, communications, content creation,
and brand development, with significant opportunities to learn about retrofit,
sustainability, and the net zero sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple brands
- Create engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Develop and schedule posts using existing content frameworks and templates
- Produce short-form video content, including reels and behind-the-scenes
features
- Visit project sites to capture content, interviews, and project updates
- Create "day in the life" style content showcasing operational teams and
retrofit projects
- Work closely with operational staff to translate technical information into
engaging digital content
- Monitor social media performance and produce regular reports and insights
- Support the ongoing development of marketing campaigns and communications
initiatives
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Assist with website content updates and digital communications projects
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Journalism,
Business, or a related subject
- Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence creating content using a smartphone and social media platforms
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and branding
- Comfortable engaging with people and capturing content on-site
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
DESIRABLE
- Experience managing social media accounts through employment, internships,
university projects, or personal content creation
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation
tools
- Understanding of sustainability, retrofit, construction, housing, or
climate-related sectors
- Experience creating video content for social media platforms
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
