We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. in our new opening. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fresh food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food to our guests while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, within a restaurant setting
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality meals
- A knowledge of Mexican cuisine will be welcome but is not essential
- Reliability and cleanliness as essential for this role
