We are looking for a reliable and organised Driver to join our team. This is a key role within the business, ensuring our engineers have the chemicals, equipment, and stock they need to deliver an excellent service to our customers across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for nationwide deliveries and collections, supporting our field engineering team by transporting chemicals, kits, stock, and customer samples safely and efficiently. No two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver chemicals, equipment, consumables, and stock to engineers across the UK.
- Collect water and environmental samples from engineers and customer sites for return to our laboratory.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring goods are secured correctly.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
- Support warehouse operations, including stock organisation and inventory management when required.
- Handle chemicals in accordance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Provide a professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and colleagues.
The remuneration package will be industry related and commensurate with role, individual responsibility and experience.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
- Ability to work alone
- Comfortable driving long distances and travelling nationwide.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment and stock safely.
- Ability to communicate with Customers to discuss works conducted
- Ability to write site reports in a legible manner and basic IT Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional early starts or overnight stays where required.
- Clean enhanced DBS check will be essential due to the properties to be visited
Desirable:
- Experience in a delivery, logistics, or warehouse role.
- Experience transporting hazardous goods
- Forklift license and or experience

This is a full-time position subject to a 6-month probationary period and in return the company is offering the following:
