Quality Engineer
Our client, a leading manufacturing and engineering company who specialise in providing precise, innovative, and cost-effective products to fit any complex requirements are in search of a Quality Engineer to join their team.
Our client has state of the art facilities and a long service team who are expanding their product range.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all products and processes achieve the desired quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability levels
- Responsible for carrying out Quality inspections, reducing waste and improving manufacturing
- Support continuous improvement activities e.g., 8D reviews, corrective action plans, Kaizen events
- Auditing of Quality process within Production, Stores and Order Processing and admin functions.
- Recording of Non-Conformances
- Provide technical and problem-solving advice regarding materials and production systems
- Facilitate timely response to open customer issues, ensure internal and external documentation is produced and maintained in response
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering
- Degree educated in an engineering / technical discipline with experience in applying problem-solving techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
