Air Conditioning Engineer

Up to £45,000 + £150 Standby (1 in 4 Callout) + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team supporting a large commercial site across the Sedgefield and Darlington area.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across air conditioning and ventilation systems within a busy commercial environment.
Key duties include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems
- Working on splits, VRV/VRF systems, AHUs and ventilation equipment
- Supporting site compliance and statutory maintenance requirements
- Completing job reports and maintenance documentation
- Working closely with the on-site engineering team and client representatives
- Participating in a 1 in 4 callout rota
What We’re Looking For
- F-Gas certification (Category 1)
- Experience in FM, building services or commercial maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance experience
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
