About Us
We are currently establishing a new vehicle preparation centre supporting one of the largest independent used car sales garages in the North West. As part of our expansion, we are looking for skilled and motivated Automotive Technicians to join our growing team. Preference will be given to candidates with Jaguar Land Rover experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing vehicles to a high retail standard, including servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and general mechanical work across a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Prepare vehicles to retail and showroom standards
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally
- Maintain accurate workshop records
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Jaguar Land Rover experience highly desirable
- Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds qualification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Full UK driving licence required
- MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
