Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including special promotions or new products.
- Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and adhering to licensing laws.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, particularly as a bartender or in food service roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to handle multiple orders during busy periods efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
