We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Provide exemplary patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and managing patient queries
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and stock management
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including infection control standards
- Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with regulatory requirements
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Good understanding of nursing principles and practices applicable to dental care
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
