Domestic Assistant (Part-Time)
- Location: Harewood Park, Cheadle, Staffordshire ST10 2EE
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 14 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern:
2 x 7-hour shifts per week on a rolling rota.
Shift times 8am-3pm or 11am-6pm
Additional flexibility to cover occasional weekend shifts when required would be advantageous.
Harewood Park is a specialist rehabilitation service supporting adults with enduring mental health conditions, mild learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
The Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention throughout the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning communal areas, resident bedrooms and bathrooms
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the service
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed accurately
- Supporting a safe and comfortable environment for residents and visitors
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
About You:
- Previous cleaning or domestic experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of the importance of infection control and cleanliness standards
