We are looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Assistant to join the team at Swansea.com.
Swansea.com is a well-established family-run group of companies based in Swansea, South Wales. There are several businesses within the group, which includes The Morgans Collection, Pure Football, Cwmdu Parc amongst others, and offers a varied range of products and services.
The role will be based in our head office and will be fast paced and rewarding with a great work environment. The group is constantly growing, and, due to the diversity of the businesses, it is a busy and dynamic office-based environment. As a result, there are many growth and development opportunities for the individual inside the company and the wider group of Swansea.com.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of bank and cash accounts
- Sales and purchase ledger processing
- Credit control
- General ledger processing and reconciliation
- Prepayments and accruals journal posting
- Preparing inter-company reconciliations
- Assisting with external audits
- Production of weekly and ad hoc MI
- Attend meetings to feedback, present or answer questions from the team
- Train in the use of the hotel systems
Skills required:
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with customers and external contacts
- Familiar with Microsoft Office packages
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Accounting 50
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative and IT skills
- Experience in a busy office environment
