A HGV Class 2 Driver is required by a busy, successful family run steel stockholder to join the team in providing a first class service to customers. Within the next few weeks we are expecting delivery of a brand new fleet of P cab Scania 280 's full spec.
The role is multi-drop, starting at 6am till job finish, Mon-Fri. Our drivers typically work between 40 - 45 hours per week, finishing 3pm on average.
Delivering goods on our drop sided flat-bed vehicles covering typically 6-18 drops (area dependant). No nights out covering mainly North West, York's and Midlands.
You must hold a valid digital tacho and driver card, previous experience in the industry a distinct advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
A keen can-do attitude is essential along with a flexible approach to work. If you have applied in the past please do re-apply as we are not always able to respond to all applicants.
We are a family orientated company with emphasis on a work life balance. The fleet does not operate at weekends . It is a job start till finish so if you return to base at 1pm you go home at 1pm. Overtime is only paid at the managers discretion when routes / work loads permit.
