About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on high-level academic theory and contemporary global issues for A-Level and/or IB cohorts.
- Delivering differentiated lessons to small classes (typically 10–12 pupils), fostering a high-engagement, scholarly environment.
- Integrating modern technology and GIS into the curriculum to enhance spatial analysis and data interpretation skills.
- Leading and organizing local and residential fieldwork opportunities that bring the curriculum to life.
- Supporting the school’s co-curricular program, including Sustainability Societies, Model United Nations, or travel clubs.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who is both an exceptional scholar and a skilled practitioner, committed to inspiring the next generation of global thinkers.
- A strong honors degree in Geography or a related field (e.g., Environmental Science or Geology) from a leading university.
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (significant experience in the independent sector is highly valued).
- Outstanding subject knowledge with the ability to stretch high-attaining pupils through complex physical and human geography topics.
- An engaging classroom practitioner who can communicate contemporary global challenges with clarity and passion.
