The Role
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Installation Operative to join our Glasgow team. You'll be out on site installing bus shelters and associated infrastructure — everything from groundworks and site preparation through to assembly and finishing — working to engineering drawings and high safety standards.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role that involves travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays (all accommodation and expenses covered).
The role also includes participation in an on-call rota — one week in three — with a separate payment arrangement for this.
What You'll Be Doing
- Groundwork and site preparation
- Assembling and installing bus shelters and associated products
- Operating tools and equipment safely
- Working to engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintaining tools, vehicles, and worksites
- Collaborating with your team to deliver projects on time
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour including heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience in groundworks, construction, or site work
- NRSWA qualification
