Longwood is seeking to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-School Room Leader to join our early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and reflective practitioner, who is committed to providing high-quality early years education in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years curriculum
- Create a safe, caring and inclusive classroom environment
- Support the social, emotional and developmental needs of young children
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress effectively
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child’s learning journey
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
The candidate should hold one of these recognised higher-level qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)
Level 6 Early Years
(Level 3 candidates will be considered)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Demonstrates a caring, patient and positive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A kind, reliable team player with a good sense of humour
