We are a small, fast growing fashion retail business, selling clothing online. We despatch orders daily (Weekdays) from our busy warehouse in Thrupp, Stroud.
We are looking for a Part-Time Assistant to join us in a varied role that covers a range of tasks. Hours are flexible 17-22 hrs per week, to work around children or other commitments. There is no heavy lifting, but the role requires a reasonable level of fitness, and the ability to be on your feet for a few hours each day.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders daily (approx 50 per day)
- Manage customer returns and exchanges
- Handle customer enquiries via email and incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- New stock in - new stock arrives almost daily - unpacking, folding, bagging, labelling
- Data entry - adding new stock to our system
- Work with our inventory system to manage our products and stock levels (Full training given)
- Manage warehouse layout, moving stock to accommodate new stock.
Skills
- Understanding of warehouse operations, picking/packing, stock in, etc
- Customer Service skills, with a desire to help resolve issues quickly.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience of online retail and/or stock control.
- Shopify / Amazon / Ebay or product data management would be a distinct advantage.
