We are a small, fast growing online fashion retail business. We sell end of line clothing so new stock arrives almost daily, and we despatch orders every day (Weekdays) from our warehouse in Thrupp, Stroud.
We are looking for a part-time assistant to join us in a varied role that covers a range of tasks. Hours are flexible from 18 - 25 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, to work around children or other commitments. There is no heavy lifting, but the role requires a reasonable level of fitness, and the ability to be on your feet for a few hours each day.
You will ideally live in or close to Stroud, and be available within the next 2-3 weeks.
The role:
- Picking and packing orders daily (approx 50 per day)
- Manage customer returns and exchanges
- Handle customer enquiries via email and incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- New stock in - new stock arrives almost daily - unpacking, folding, bagging, labelling
- Product information - adding new stock to our system
- Use Shopify to manage our products and stock levels (Full training given)
- Manage stock within the warehouse, moving stock to accommodate new stock.
Skills / Experience - some but not all of the following are required.
- Experience with picking and packing, new stock in
- Customer Service skills, with a desire to help resolve issues quickly.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good computer skills - excel an advantage.
- Experience with online retail and/or stock control.
- Shopify / Amazon / Ebay or product catalogue management would be an advantage.
