Job description
An established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class claims service throughout the UK are now seeking an experienced Credit Hire Claims Handler to join their Motor Claims Team where you will manage all aspects of third party vehicle damage, personal injury and third party property damage claims presented by a third party directly or via solicitors, insurers and accident management companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of personal injury, credit hire and client vehicle damage claims
- Review case history, liaise with various departments to establish liability and investigate the validity
- Handle all aspects of credit hire claims ABI GTA Insurer
- Monitor own caseload ensuring all actions are documented correctly and systems are kept up to date
- Liaise and negotiate with all relevant parties to progress and settle claims quickly and effectively within your delegate authority
- Ensure collective targets are attained
- Ensure a relevant level of technical understanding with continuous development and learning
About You
- Experience of handling Motor claims, particularly third party claims
- Good knowledge, understanding and experience of dealing with fast track personal injury claims within the MOJ Portal Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Knowledge of the ABI GTA and how to deal with credit hire claims
- Good knowledge of credit hire caselaw
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise workload and the importance and urgency to work to tight deadlines
- Insurance Industry Qualifications desirable
