Job description
We are looking for Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our specialist Earthing Team in Manchester.
Earthing is one of the most fundamental elements of electrical infrastructure. It plays a critical role in keeping substations, renewable energy projects, power networks, and electrical installations safe during fault conditions. It is also an excellent discipline for developing a deep, practical understanding of how power systems behave in the real world.
The Role:
As a Graduate Earthing Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a wide range of projects, including:
- Substations
- Renewable energy projects
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Your work will involve earthing studies, modelling, and design, giving you exposure to technically challenging and high‑impact projects from the very start of your career.
Training and Development:
Supporting engineers at the beginning of their careers is a core part of our engineering culture. We actively invest in your development through:
- Our internal Academy programme
- Dedicated Professional Registration Advisors
- Structured mentoring and support towards professional registration, including CEng
We are passionate about building long‑term careers, not just filling roles.
Our Culture:
In addition to technical excellence, we pride ourselves on having a strong and supportive team culture. Alongside day‑to‑day collaboration, we also enjoy team activities such as darts nights, paintball, hiking trips, and other social events.
If you are looking for the right place to start your career in electrical engineering, we would love to hear from you.
