Financial Controller - Remote (CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
Red Sea group is looking for a Financial Controller to join our growing finance team in the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform monthly closing of accounting records, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in compliance with local regulations and group policies.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
- Prepare and record accruals, provisions, and other adjusting journal entries.
- Handle statutory reporting and submissions to local authorities in the UK.
- Work with external auditors and the company’s international subsidiaries
- Prepare cash flow forecast for the UK and Process and oversee payments to suppliers.
- Oversee company payroll and ensure full compliance with UK regulations and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure consistent application of group reporting standards and accounting policies.
Requirements:
- CPA (UK ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified)
- Experience in SME or international group reporting
- Proven experience in consolidating financial results of international subsidiaries, including intercompany eliminations and group reporting.
- Previous experience of having worked with stock and ability to reconcile stock movements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Business One.
- Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with UK statutory and tax reporting requirements and UK GAAP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with global companies or international operations – advantage
- Strong Excel + cloud ERP
- Comfortable working remotely.
