Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Join a Growing Litigation Team
My client is seeking a confident and motivated Solicitor to join their expanding Dispute Resolution team based in Crewe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or recently qualified solicitor to take on a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive and well-structured litigation department. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to handle matters independently with appropriate supervision while developing their skills across a broad range of dispute resolution work.
The role offers excellent exposure to a wide variety of contentious matters, strong client contact, and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression within a busy and growing litigation team.
The Opportunity
You will join a dynamic dispute resolution team handling a diverse range of civil and commercial litigation matters.
Your caseload will include:
- Debt recovery and debt collection matters
- Civil litigation disputes
- Contentious probate and trust disputes
- Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Property disputes (commercial and residential)
- Boundary and neighbour disputes
- Breach of contract claims
- General commercial disputes
This role offers a varied workload with significant client interaction and the opportunity to develop experience across multiple areas of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Handling a wide range of dispute resolution matters from instruction to conclusion
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
- Assisting with negotiation and settlement discussions
- Working on both straightforward and complex litigation matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and internal referrals
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualified Solicitor status (NQ or recently qualified welcomed)
- Prior experience in dispute resolution or litigation
- Strong understanding of civil procedure
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to contribute and support business growth
