Event and Sales Executive – Outdoor Catering Seasoned Events
Location: County Hall, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 7PB E
Salary: £38,000.00 per year (+ bonus on achievement of annual sales target)
Holiday: 33 days including bank holidays per annum
Days of work: Monday – Friday. (Hours and days of work will be set in line with the requirements of the role and will include attendance at evening and weekend events where necessary).
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven, relationship‑focused Sales & Events Executive to join our growing team and play a key role in driving event sales across our accredited venues, as well as our exclusive partnership with Merlin Venues. This is a rare opportunity to sell unforgettable experiences at some historic London venues, and iconic attractions, including Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, and the Riverside Rooms.
You’ll be responsible for converting enquiries into successful events, building strong client relationships, and showcasing our catering and event management expertise across a diverse portfolio of venues. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love creating memorable experiences, and have a passion for hospitality, this role is for you.
Role Entails:
- Managing and converting inbound enquiries for catering, venue hire, and full event packages across our accredited venues and Merlin attractions.
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities and nurturing repeat clients.
- Creating compelling proposals and event plans tailored to client needs.
- Working closely with operations, culinary, and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Hosting site visits, tastings, and client meetings to bring event concepts to life.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting forecasting and reporting.
- Representing the brand at industry events, showcases, and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in event sales, venue sales, or catering sales - ideally within the hospitality industry.
- A natural communicator with strong relationship‑building skills and a consultative sales approach.
- Confident in managing multiple enquiries, deadlines, and client expectations at once.
- Commercially minded, target‑driven, and motivated by achieving results.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, energetic environment.
- Passion for food, events, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
