The 1936 Pub co are on the lookout for strong supervisors to join the teams at some of our pub concepts.
We are looking for candidates passionate about the pub, draught and cask industry that are keen to progress their career.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and direct a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Bartending experience
Responsibilities:
- Implement company training programs for new starters with consistent tracking and recording of progress.
- Opening and closing procedures – ensuring the venue is set up to spec every shift.
- End of night procedures: cashing up, securing the venue, and effective handovers to other managers/supervisors.
- Help facilitate the smooth running of the venue with regards to sound levels, lighting, sports, venue presentation, and guest experience.
- Maintain the consistency and freshness of all products, with particular attention to cask and draught management.
- Fruit and citrus orders, stock top up, and consumables orders where necessary.
- Help to resolve and report venue issues, for example maintenance concerns, draught issues, cellar concerns, missing stock/wrong orders, end of night report problems.
- Contribute to staff hiring where required – evaluating trial shifts, organising training.
