HGV Technician – Night Shift (Tuesday – Friday) – Preston
Pay: £25.21 per hour + Technician Grade Bonus
Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 19:00 – 07:00 (46 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Earning Potential (OTE)
- Hourly Rate: £25.21 per hour
- Bonus: Technician Grade Bonus available
- Basic Salary: £60,302 per year (based on 46-hour week)
- Annual Leave: 258 hours including bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake maintenance and repair activities on commercial vehicles and trailers of all types
- Diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles, and effect permanent and complete repairs
- Complete paperwork and procedures relating to warranty, contract, and retail work
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise unnecessary customer costs
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician
- Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Full UK driving licence
