The Role
As a Female Support Worker, you'll provide tailored support that enables the people we support to live as independently as possible. No two days are the same, and your responsibilities may include:
- Providing emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, medication support, and personal care.
- Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, participate in social activities, education, or employment.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and informed decision-making.
- Promoting dignity, wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively as part of a caring and professional team.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced care professionals and those new to the sector.
You'll need:
- A caring, compassionate, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team.
- Flexibility to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
- A full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
- QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential).
- Registration with Social Care Wales (desirable but not essential).
