Job Description:
Northern Restorations is seeking a skilled Fire and Flood Technician or someone with relevant building experience to join our family-run Fire and Flood Restoration team. You will be working alongside our experienced team, including Senior BDMA-qualified staff and technicians, providing high-quality restoration services across Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Fire and Flood Restoration industry or related fields, as well as some knowledge of building construction. Evening and weekend call-outs are part of the role, managed through a rota system. Emergency situations may occasionally require flexibility outside standard hours.
Essential Qualities & Requirements:
- Previous experience in Fire and Flood Restoration or similar industries
- Knowledge of building construction
- BDMA qualification desired, but not essential
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Willingness to undertake a DBS / Criminal Disclosure Check
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Willing to join an “On Call” rota with other BDMA-qualified staff
- Health & Safety awareness
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good computer and written literacy skills
- Willingness to undertake training to enhance role capabilities
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
Additional Duties:
- Assisting in building cleaning
- House clearances
- Mould remediation (training provided)

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

- Full, clean UK driving license (required)
- BDMA qualification (preferred)
