Zen Educate is working with multiple Primary and Specialist Schools across Woking who are seeking dedicated individuals to support pupils with a range of needs including: Autism, ADHD, Disabilities, Non-Verbal, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, PMLD, Down Syndrome, EAL, Personal Care.
While school experience is preferred, what's essential is that you have a passion and enthusiasm for going above and beyond for children who need your support.
No prior School experience needed: (School TA's, Alternative Provision, PRU/Pupil Referral Unit, Care Worker, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Football Coach, Residential Care, Mental Health, Psychology - whatever your background, if you have SEN skills I am happy to chat)
The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Should:
● Have experience working with children or adults with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in groups - or have transferable skills
● Be passionate about working with SEN children.
● Be flexible, proactive, and patient.
● Be able to communicate effectively within a team.
● Be committed to work full-time (or agreed part-time hours on set days).
