About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, community-minded individual with a strong connection to the South Cotswolds to join Roz Savage MP’s constituency office.This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in politics, local communities and public service to gain hands-on experience within a busy MP’s office. The role is varied and offers the chance to learn about many different aspects of parliamentary and constituency work.The successful candidate will support the team across a range of duties including constituency casework, community engagement, administration and local projects.This role would suit someone who is passionate about helping people, interested in how politics and local government work, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Assisting with constituency casework and supporting residents with local and national issues
- Drafting responses to constituents
- Supporting community engagement projects and local initiatives
- Attending local meetings, visits, events and surgeries
- Assisting with administrative tasks within the constituency office
- Helping monitor local issues and community concerns
- Supporting research projects and briefing preparation
- Helping build relationships with local organisations, charities, councils and community groups
- Providing flexible support across different areas of the office as requiredSkills & ExperienceWe are looking for someone who: Has a strong connection to the South Cotswolds and understanding of local communities

- Is able to handle sensitive information appropriately
- Has good IT and written communication skills
- Desirable Experience volunteering or working within the community
- Interest in local government or public policy
- Experience dealing with members of the public or customer service
- This role offers valuable experience within a parliamentary office and the opportunity to develop skills across casework, community engagement and constituency office operations.
