About the role
We’re looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly, supportive team. We would also consider candidates interested in completing an apprenticeship, offering a fantastic opportunity to start your career, gain hands-on experience and work towards a recognised qualification.
Day to day, you’ll learn how to:
Speak with customers face-to-face, over the phone and via email- Help with general enquiries, policy updates and renewals
- Support the team with administrative tasks and keep things running smoothly
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring every interaction is positive
You’ll gradually build confidence, knowledge and skills while getting to know our customers and the local community. No two days are the same, and you’ll be supported every step of the way as you grow in the role.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and keen to learn
- Interested in building a career in customer service or insurance
- Confident communicating with others (or willing to develop this)
- Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
You don’t need previous experience – just the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to develop.
Essential:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A positive, proactive approach
- A genuine interest in customer service
Desirable:
- Any previous part-time, voluntary or school-based customer experience
- Interest in financial services or insurance
