We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie (seasonal) to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of the section during service
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
- Support meal preparation for special events or seasonal menus as required
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the head chef
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential for highly motivated candidates
- Serving experience is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of customer service standards
