The Opportunity
Pineapple Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading, quality-focused contract catering provider to recruit a talented Executive Chef Manager for a prestigious and modern educational site in Battersea.
This is a high-profile opportunity to take ownership of a catering operation within a stunning, brand-new kitchen facility. We are looking for a culinary leader who can bring high-street innovation and restaurant-quality excellence to the student, staff, and hospitality dining experience. Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Leadership: Oversee all food production, ensuring top-tier quality, presentation, and consistency across daily student/staff dining and high-profile hospitality events.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a professional and high-performing working culture.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the full site operation, including strict budget control, stock management, and supplier relationships.
- Menu Innovation: Develop creative, nutritious, and seasonal menus that reflect modern food trends and drive customer satisfaction.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary culinary point of contact, maintaining a strong and professional partnership with site stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure 5-star standards in food hygiene, Health & Safety, and all internal auditing systems.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Proven Experience: A background as a Chef Manager, ideally within a high-volume education, B&I, or premium contract catering environment.
- Leadership Skills: A natural leader with a "can-do" attitude and excellent communication, delegation, and team-building skills.
- Financial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with experience in managing kitchen budgets, GP targets, and labour costs.
- Passion for Food: A genuine love for fresh, seasonal ingredients and a drive to deliver outstanding food quality.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent culinary degree, and a current Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate.
