We’re looking for an Estates & Facilities Assistant – Finance Support to join our team at Force Headquarters in London. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day financial and procurement activity that keeps our estates function running effectively, helping us deliver safe, efficient environments across the rail network.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in finance, procurement or estates, with real exposure to projects and opportunities to develop your career.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting budgets and tracking spend across estates activities and projects

Helping to purchase goods and services, ensuring value for money

Monitoring purchase card and system transactions across the team

Providing general support to keep the Estates team running smoothly
What you'll bring to the team:
-
Relevant qualification or experience – A qualification in Business Administration or at least one year of practical experience in a similar environment.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills – Proven ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and deliver accurate results under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – High level of verbal and written communication, with the ability to build effective working relationships and relay information clearly.

Good IT and financial systems knowledge – Confident in using IT systems and understanding facilities-related and financial processes.
