Daytime Cleaning Janitor

Are you a reliable professional with a "can-do" attitude? Bulloughs Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated individual to carry out cleaning operations at a local site in Temple Newsam. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a consistent routine but has the flexibility to support the team when it matters most.
The Role
- Core Hours: Contracted 20 hours per week, with additional hours adhoc.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11am - 3pm
- Contract: Term Time (plus 4 weeks per year for deep cleaning during half-term periods).
- Flexibility: We are looking for a candidate who is happy to pick up extra shifts (evenings or early mornings) to cover staff absences or additional requirements.
Pay & Benefits
- Rate: £13.45 per hour.
- Frequency: Weekly pay (every Friday, one week in arrears).
- Support: Full training provided, with ongoing support from the onsite supervisor and our management team.
- Security: We will apply and pay for your Enhanced DBS check.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out cleaning duties to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Performing janitorial duties and ensuring the site remains presentable and safe.
- Using your initiative to manage daily tasks with the option to cover additional shifts as and when they arise.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous cleaning and janitorial experience is preferred, though not essential for the right candidate.
- Adaptability: A flexible approach to working hours to ensure service continuity.
- Compliance: You must provide valid Right to Work documentation (Passport, Birth Certificate, or Share Code).
