The Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver for a tramping position running Monday to Thursday. You’ll be responsible for a few drops per day, delivering goods safely and efficiently across the UK. You’ll return home at the end of the working week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and in compliance with UK road legislation
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately
- Maintain accurate tachograph, working time, and driver hour records
- Secure loads properly and verify load details against delivery documentation
- Follow traffic rules and site-specific regulations at customer and agent locations
- Report incidents or accidents promptly and assist in any required investigations
- Follow all health & safety policies, complete training, and attend toolbox talks as required
- Maintain cleanliness of your vehicle and assist with basic depot cleanliness if requested
- Cooperate with warehouse and operations teams as needed

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 3 penalty points on licence
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude
