Groundworks Labourer Required – Warsash Area
Location: Warsash and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Groundworks Labourer to join our team working on projects across Warsash and the surrounding areas.
This role involves supporting groundworkers on a variety of construction sites, carrying out general labouring duties and assisting with all aspects of groundwork operations. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and willing to work as part of a busy team.
Duties Include:
- Assisting groundworkers with day-to-day site activities
- Digging, trenching, and preparing work areas
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Site clearance and general housekeeping
- Assisting with drainage, kerbing, paving, and other groundwork tasks
- Operating basic hand and power tools
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or groundwork labouring preferred
- Full UK driving licence (essential) due to travel between multiple site locations
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Reliable and punctual
Desirable:
- Groundworks or civil engineering experience
- Machine operator tickets (advantageous but not essential)
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites
