Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver seeking a stable, long-term position with a well-established business operating within the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver steel products safely and efficiently throughout the UK
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Secure loads correctly using straps and other load restraint equipment
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Complete vehicle and delivery paperwork as required
- Comply with Drivers' Hours regulations, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
- Represent the business professionally at customer sites
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience transporting steel products or similar heavy loads
- Experience with load securing, strapping, and safe load restraint practices
- Strong understanding of transport compliance and road safety
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
