Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Eastkilbride Autocare Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and operate efficiently. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre changes, and brake replacements.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Carry out diagnostics to various makes and models of vehicles.
- Carry out MOT related repairs.
Requirements
- You must be time served.
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
