John Darke Limited is a long-established, family-run Ford and Independent Volvo Reparier with an excellent reputation for customer service. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Aftersales Manager to lead our busy Service, Parts and Rental departments at our Louth dealership.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and driving business performance.
The Role
As Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Service, Parts and Rental operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction while maximising productivity and profitability.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Managing the Service, Parts and Rental departments.
● Leading, motivating and developing the aftersales team.
● Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high CSI standards.
● Monitoring departmental performance and profitability.
● Ensuring efficient workshop loading and productivity.
● Managing warranty processes and manufacturer standards.
● Maintaining health and safety compliance.
● Building strong relationships with customers and resolving any issues professionally.
● Working closely with the senior management team to achieve business objectives.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
● Previous experience in an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager or similar leadership role within the motor trade.
● Excellent leadership and people management skills.
● Strong organisational and communication abilities.
● Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
● A full UK driving licence.
Working Hours
● Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
● Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
