Are you an organised and proactive Procurement Planner looking for your next challenge?
We are recruiting for a Procurement Planner to join a busy and successful organisation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring materials and components are available when needed, supporting business operations and maintaining effective stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing procurement schedules in line with business forecasts and operational requirements
· Raising, maintaining and expediting purchase orders through SAP
· Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any supply issues
· Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
· Managing inventory levels and identifying potential stock risks
· Providing accurate forecasts to suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and planning functions
· Attending regular planning and operational meetings
What We're Looking For:
· Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, materials planning or supply chain planning
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
· Experience using SAP, knowledge of Accellos would be advantageous
· Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
· A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships across departments
