Scaffold Supervisor
We are a well-established scaffolding company based in Cwmbran and are looking to recruit an experienced Scaffold Supervisor to join our management team. The successful candidate will hold a minimum CISRS Part 2 qualification and have at least 5 years scaffolding experience, with proven leadership and organisational skills.
The Role
As Scaffold Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of up to 20 scaffolders and labourers, coordinating both local residential projects and larger site works across South Wales and occasionally further afield, including London.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining strong communication with both site teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating scaffold teams on a daily basis
- Allocating labour and resources in the most efficient and cost-effective way
- Liaising with transport to organise vehicle allocation and ensuring loading process is completed quickly and efficiently each morning
- Conducting site visits and supporting the General Manager where required
- Acting as the main point of contact for scaffold teams throughout the day
- Resolving site issues and ensuring work is completed on schedule
- Monitoring productivity and identifying areas for improvement
- Completing daily handovers and forward planning for upcoming work
- Maintaining accurate worksheets and operational records
Requirements
- Minimum CISRS Part 2 qualification
- At least 5 years’ scaffolding experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Full clean UK driving licence
- All relevant tickets and certifications to be in date
